The last walk

“A dying man needs to die, as a sleepy man needs to sleep, and there comes a time when it is wrong, as well as useless, to resist”

I should have hugged you tighter and longer the last time I saw you.

There is no pretending how much I love you, and I will love you until I die, and if there is life after that, I’ll love you then.

And when death takes my hand, I will hold you with the other and promise to find you in every lifetime and tell you how much I love you.

I chose you despite the distance, despite the fear of not being able to see you whenever I want. I will always choose you, despite everything. Because you are worth it, always. You are my everything.

Thank you for acceptance and understanding.

Yours truly among the stars.
